Executive Director Zhaoyi Liu was born and raised in Nanjing, China, on the Yangzi River several hours west
of Shanghai; She graduated from Nanjing University with a major in Chinese Literature. Zhao Yi's educational background
and natural talent as a teacher, makes her undoubtedly one of the best Chinese teacher in Chicago. She enjoys, fiction,
history and she is a good listener. Her passion is teaching Chinese culture and language. |

Yinghua,with
her BA in English Language and MA in TESOL credentials, taught English as a foreign language in the most prestigious foreign
language university in Beijing, China and started teaching Mandarin Chinese to college students as well as kids from 12 months
old to 12 years old after moving to the U.S. While teaching, Yinghua focuses on not only the language itself but also the
culture. Now she is happy to see that more and more people of diverse cultures are becoming interested in knowing more about
China and are willing to learn the Chinese language which they think very different, difficult but interesting. She takes
great pride in being able to teach Mandarin Chinese to people of all ages with all cultural backgrounds in this country.
Lei Zhang was born and raised in Tianjin, China and left for the U.S when
she was 16 years old. She graduated from Knox College in Galesburg, IL with a B.S. in biochemistry and chemistry. She
has been working as a HIV research technician at Rush University Medical Center for the past five years and finishing her
Master of Public Health degree in the division of Community Health Science at UIC. During my senior year of college,sheinitiated
a Chinese (Mandarin/Eastern Asian Study) program at Knox College, as well as taught Mandarin for college credit. She
is passionate about teaching the language, as well as the Chinese cultures and traditions. She is honored to become
one of the members of the teaching team this year, and is looking forward to having a great time at ChinaFriends.

Lijun comes from Tianjin in China, and
graduated from Australia Charles Sturt University with a bachelor degree in business, and is also a graduate from University
of Illinois at Chicago with a MBA degree. She comes from many year of teaching Chinese to the foreign students in China and
was also an English teacher before coming to the U.S. She was working at Chinakids at Chicago three years ago and right
now, she is living in Taiwan and working for Skype lessons for 2 years. She has a lot of fun being with the children
at ChinaFriends.

Alice (Xiaojing) Liu
is from Weifang, China. She has her
BA in Art Design and M.S. Ed. in Instructional Technology from Southern Illinois Univerisity Edwardsville, her emphasis is
in Educational Techonlogy. She also got her teaching Certificate with teaching Chinese as a second language from Beijing Language
and Culture University. Xiaojing has been a CSL teacher for over 10 years. She is very patient, passionate, and hard- working.
She enjoys every moment with her students in her classroom.

Xueting
Ji came from Shenyang, China. She graduated from Shenyang university with a bachelor degree in English. Before
came to the United States, Xueting had taught at public elementary school and preschool in China. She is passionate at
teaching in classroom and taking care of her students. While getting along with those innocent children, she found lots
of happiness. Xueting is very patient and enthusiastic in teaching and education.She is proud of be in the Chinafriends teaching
team. She will do her best to bring laugh and cheer to her students. Lina Wan, is from Wuhan. She is a undergraduate student
in major mathematics in DePaul University. She received the highest level certificate with a Chinese traditional instrument
which is called Guzheng in China. Lina is very patient. She brought lots fun and laugh in the classroom.
